YourValidator
Use case · Partner network and strategic consulting

One common basis for an entire partner network.

A company with partner agencies acquires YourValidator and provides it to its partners under its own name. In the first meeting, the strategy is developed together on screen, with open assumptions. Strategic competence becomes visible before a contract is awarded.

Client

A traceable decision

Sees what a recommendation is based on and which assumption drives the result.

Partner agency

Visible strategic competence

Shows in the first meeting how it plans. The result is available when the meeting ends.

Acquirer

A common basis

Gives the entire network the same calculation logic and a shared basis for training.

01

Starting point

Marketing rarely has an execution problem. More often, it has an alignment problem.

Executive management, marketing and agency usually pursue the same goals, but not always with the same assumptions. Good agencies and consultants therefore start with the same questions:

  • Which goals should be achieved?
  • Which channels are suitable?
  • Where do saturation effects occur?
  • Which conversion rates are realistic?
  • Which expectations can be met at all?

Afterwards, the answers end up in notes, spreadsheets, presentations and CRM entries. Each of these translations leaves room for interpretation, and each one moves further away from the original discussion.

02

Approach

A common working basis that is created during the conversation.

The basis is not created in the follow-up, but in the meeting itself. It

  • is visible to client and consultant at the same time,
  • contains the same assumptions, goals and constraints for both sides,
  • remains traceable later, unchanged.
The question is then no longer: What was actually said? But: Which assumption is wrong?

03

Course of a first meeting

How a partner agency uses the planning calculator.

  1. Before the meeting: the agency opens the planning calculator in the acquirer's design, embedded on the acquirer's infrastructure.
  2. In the meeting: goals, channels, budget frame and assumptions are entered together. Where the client has own figures, they replace the default values.
  3. Scenarios: budget allocations are compared live, including saturation, cross-channel effects and break-even. The client sees which assumption drives the result.
  4. At the end of the meeting: a PDF report with assumptions and results is available, together with the planning state as JSON for follow-up.
  5. Afterwards: the proposal builds on the documented state. During the project, the same state serves as the basis for comparing plan and actuals.

04

Benefits on three levels

Client, partner agency and acquirer.

LevelBenefit
Client Decides on a basis whose assumptions it knows and has helped to define. Sees how the agency plans before awarding a contract.
Partner agency Makes its strategic work visible in the first meeting. The result is created in the meeting, so follow-up work is reduced. Recommendations can be justified with open figures.
Acquirer Gives the partner network a common consulting basis under its own name. Training through shared calculation logic and shared cases. Consulting quality across the network becomes more comparable. The tool can serve as an entry point to the acquirer's own, more extensive offerings.

05

An experience from insurance

Harald Klein, developer of YourValidator, more than 20 years in commercial insurance

In insurance, I saw how advice became comparable. What was standardized was not the advisor, but the basis on which advice is given, justified and documented.

Only then did questions like these become possible:

  • Why is one advisor more successful than another?
  • Why do errors keep occurring in certain teams?
  • Which assumptions systematically lead to poor results?
  • Where does the organization need to train?

Not individual qualification, but system qualification. An organization becomes manageable when its assumptions become comparable.

I see the same step coming in marketing. Marketing often asks: What can we do? Investment planning asks: Under which conditions does it pay off? A calculation does not replace creativity. It makes the economic consequences of a decision visible.

Transparent assumptions make competence visible.

06

System qualification within the network

What the acquirer can build on this basis.

  • Shared calculation logic: all partners plan with the same formulas. Results are comparable.
  • Shared cases: training sessions work with the same sample scenarios and the same questions.
  • Consistent reports: PDF report and planning state follow the same structure everywhere.
  • Own extensions: with the source code, the acquirer can adapt the system to its processes, for example to consolidate and analyze planning states centrally or to connect them to its own CRM.
  • Own data layer: the calculation core is separate from data acquisition. The acquirer can connect its own data sources and agents that calculate default values and ranges and hand them over via JSON.

Possible architecture at the acquirer

Acquirer
Data sourcesOwn anonymized data and licensed external sources
Acquirer
AI agentsConsolidate the data and calculate default values and ranges per industry, channel and region
Interface
Handover via JSONDefault values as planning assumptions
YourValidator
Calculation corePlanning calculation with these assumptions: saturation, cross-channel effects, break-even, customer lifetime value
Partner agency and client
MeetingCheck default values, replace them with own figures, compare scenarios
Agency and client
ResultPDF report and planning state, optionally handed over to the acquirer's CRM

The data layer is designed by the acquirer and is the acquirer's responsibility. YourValidator calculates with the values provided as assumptions and remains a planning calculation.

NoteAs delivered, all planning data remains local in the user's browser. Extensions that consolidate data centrally are designed by the acquirer and are the acquirer's responsibility, including all data protection matters.

07

Limitations

What the planning calculation does not do.

  • YourValidator is a planning calculation based on the user's own assumptions. It is not a marketing mix model, not proof of effectiveness and not a forecast.
  • The quality of a result depends on the quality of the assumptions. The default values supplied are unverified reference values.
  • The calculation does not replace the agency's expertise. It makes it traceable.

08

Acquisition for this scenario

YourValidator is available for acquisition as a whole, alternatively as an exclusive license.

  • Source code, test suite, documentation and domains, with all rights as far as transferable
  • Provision of the embed version to partner agencies and integration into own products
  • Own name, own design, modification and further development of the code
  • Blueprint for expanding into an enterprise version: multi-client workspaces, verifiable handover to corporate clients, interfaces for sign-in, storage and AI agents
